NT Government Procurement
It is very important to note that NTICN is written into Government procurement guidelines up to Tier 3 level (Purchases up to $50,000). Government Procurement officers are obliged to utilise NTICN services in the following circumstances:
- NTICN must be consulted to ensure goods and services up to the value of $50,000 are confirmed ‘not available' from within the Territory prior to purchasing interstate or overseas.
- NTICN must be consulted to help identify local providers for goods and services under $50,000.
- NTICN will be consulted prior to sourcing quotations outside the Territory to help identify and increase opportunities to local providers.
- NTICN will be contacted to confirm local company details.
Let NTICN give you the chance of increasing your business opportunities by ensuring you have a comprehensive company profile registered with NTICN. All information received and the referral process is confidential and of no charge.
Once you have registered your company with the NTICN, we will be placing your email address (if supplied) on our email list to send you out our monthly newsletter, the newsletter offers updates on current major projects in the Territory and other relevant industry information.
When filling in the products/services, we use word recognition to search for companies with specific products requested, try to enter as much detail as you can and use words that customers are likely to recognise. eg water reservoirs / water tanks, brand names, agencies etc.
If your company is not registered on the NTICN data base then you may be missing out on both private and government sector opportunities that you may not be aware of. Why miss out when the exercise costs you nothing?
A NTICN consultant can come out to your premises and ensure that the products / services information collated for your profile is comprehensive. Contact us now to make an appointment.
