New Land Release at Darwin Business Park

In the largest industrial land release to date, the Northern Territory Land Development Corporation is releasing 21 lots
within the Darwin Business Park.

Expressions of Interest for Darwin Business Park Stage 1 opened May 12th for the development and sale off the plan of
five high profile lots plus one key entrance block. With development leases convertible to freehold, Stage 1 lots range
in size from 1.04ha to 1.67ha and are fully serviced. More Information

eni�s Kitan Project

eni has started the development of the Kitan oil field, located in the permit 06-105 of the Joint Petroleum Development Area (JPDA) between Timor-Leste and Australia, approximately 250km south of the Timor-Leste capital of Dili and 500km north of Darwin. eni is the operator (40%) in the permit JPDA 06-105, with INPEX Timor Sea, Ltd. (35%) and Talisman Resources (JPDA 06-105) Pty Limited (25%) as joint venture partners.

eni are also looking to Darwin to provide additional goods and services for the Kitan project that they are unable to source from Timor-Leste. More information

Ichthys LNG Project

The Ichthys Project is a Joint Venture between INPEX Browse Ltd (76%, the Operator) and Total E&P Australia (24%). Gas from the Ichthys Field, in the Browse Basin offshore of Western Australia, will undergo preliminary processing offshore to remove water and raw liquids, including condensate. The gas will then be exported to the onshore processing facilities in Darwin via an 850km subsea pipeline. The Ichthys Project is expected to produce more than 8 million tonnes of LNG, approximately 1.6 million tonnes of LPG per annum and 100,000 barrels of condensate per day. Register here
Ichthys Onshore Facilities

The onshore processing plant will produce approximately 1.6 million tonnes per annum of LPG and 15 000 barrels per day of condensate which is carried to the plant with the gas stream.

National School Pride Program - Building the Education Revolution

The Australian Government will deliver a $14.7 billion boost to the Education Revolution over the next three financial years. Building the Education Revolution (BER) begins this year and will provide new facilities and refurbishments in schools so Australia`s schools can meet the needs of 21st century students and teachers.

90 Territory schools have applied for project funding under the National School Pride program estmated at $13.5 million

Phosphate Mine Development - Wonarah

The Wonarah Phosphate Project is the companys lead project and will establish Minemakers as a producer and a significant player in the rock phosphate business.

This resource is the largest known reserve in Australia containing in excess of 461 million tonnes of rock phosphate.

The Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Program (SIHIP), is a jointly funded program of the Australian and Northern Territory Governments. It will invest $672 million over five years in Indigenous communities across the Territory.
